The Dishwasher

Look at the lovely pile of dishes on my kitchen counter...

Now look how clean my dishwasher is!

This is what my 3 year old does...in her spare time! I was busy...reading a book and neglecting my homely duties, at least I think Grayci thought I was, and she, unknowingly to me. decided to empty my dishwasher for me. Of course, she can't reach where all the dishes go, so she lovingly placed them on my counter where I could get to them when I was good and ready.

This put a huge smile on my face and I gave her a big bear hug and told her thanks so much for being a big helper. This made her (and myself) feel so good.

Thanks, Grayci, for helping mommy when she is too busy reading a book!

I love you!

Awwww! That is so sweet. I wish my kids would do that. They just whine every time I ask them to empty the dishwasher.

that is really sweet. Idont even see my 15 year old do that without a debate on who's job it is.

I can see her now standing there doing that. She is a doll. Now you need to train her how to use a toilet brush!

Hi April, glad you found me. I always hear good things about JD from Donovan. He was actually telling me on his birthday that both him and JD were born at the same time 7:55pm, is that right? We will have to meet and get the boys together. That is super sweet of your daughter to do that especially being so little! :)
